So my family and I took our long overdue family portrait at Sears. It was funny cuz as we were walking to Sears my bro goes "Put on your Sunday best kids, we're goin to Sears". hahaha Get it, from the Brady Bunch Movie. hahaha Anyhoo. So we get there and they stick us with the girl who doesn't know ANYTHING about taking pictures. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was her first day, or if she really worked in the like hosiery department and they needed someone to fill in, so they just grabbed her. Cuz this chick had no effin idea what she was doing.

So first we're deciding what background. My brother wanted the one that had a bright sun with a cute lil path. hahaha I thought to go for either the traditional or the greyish/black one. But the photo girl goes, "you should go for the white with the drapery". I was thinking, "um isn't that for lil babies when they're like riding on a pony or sitting on blocks". But whatever. So she has no idea how to pose us. She had to look at previously taken pictures to get an idea. First background pose, i'm like up at the front. We look at the pictures and i'm like "WHAT THE f%$k IS THAT?!?!?". I literally look like someone just pasted me in there. First of all, my whole family is like in the background and here i am all up close like i'm about to pop out of the picture. I look like the adopted kid who had to be pasted on. It looked soooooooooo bad. The spacing and everything was off.

So then we're on to the next background. A darker one. Luckily this other lady comes in and poses us. She had me kneeling. We look at the pictures and we're like "muuuuuuuuch better". The darker background made it look more elegant, and less "i'm 2 years old taking my first pictures".

Then we tell the stupid photo girl, can we have it so that our parents are sitting and we're standing behind them. So she's like "uhmmmm ok". Alright, why did she make my mom's chair soooooo low that she's like sitting 2 feet shorter than my dad and in the pictures looks like she's a midget. It's hilarious!

I wish i could post them on here. It's freakin comedy.

Then afterwards my dad wanted to know if they'd be able to retouch it. So she asks the girl and she's like "oh yeah, we can do soft focus". So we're like "oh yeah, can we get that"
Then she's like "uhmmmmm i already sent it to the lab. But you can order another set". We were like "What the hell are we gonna do with 2 16x20 pictures of our family. My sister was about to raise hell, but luckily the other girl said that we could just order another set and not take the first set we ordered.

Why do they let incompetent people do jobs they shouldn't be doing?!?!? Does that sound mean? But seriously, that girl should not be working there.
