We woke up early again this morning to go eat our buffet breakfast. We saw the same couple we had seen the day before and those same runny eggs were there again. They were playing a cold play song and all of a sudden the old lady from that couple started singing the words. Mark and I started busting up. So funny.
Then we headed back on the metro to go to the Hard Rock Cafe to find my cousin a pin. Later we wandered around the shee shee area of Madrid for a bit, had some coffee, and then headed back to the Sol area.
Okay, I was told ham was big in Madrid, but geez louise! It was EVERYWHERE. All day, every day ham. We even went into the Museo del Jamon and there was ham hanging from every crevice. We also went back to the good ol' Market de San Miguel where that same vendor had their yummy goodness to eat.
Headed back to the hotel where Markie took a 7 hour nap. I finally siesta'd for a bit and then we woke up to go eat dinner around 9 something. We wandered and wand
ered because everything was PACKED since it was Saturday. We finally made it to this place where a man who spoke English drew us in . The food wasn't bad and the Sangria was DELICIOUS! Then we headed back to the good ol Market de San Miguel
and I got some Gelato.
We got home probably around 1 am and got to Skype with my sis, bro, and Ryden (who was unusually shy). Then we had to pack for our early train to San Sebastian.
Ham everywhere!
Markie loves ham.
Our favorite market.
Yuuuuuum!
This is our favorite vendor.
